- Married for 30 years; Husband, Sherwood, who grew up in Brunswick County, a graduate of NC State University and is an engineering manager. Gina has two daughters, Christine (a mortgage loan officer in Wilmington, NC) and Shelby (a nursing student at East Carolina University).
